Kitchens & Baths

The rooms that shape a day.

Kitchens & Baths

Kitchens and baths are where a home earns its keep — used hardest, judged closest, and most likely to date a house. Done right, they're also the best return on a remodel.

Kitchens & Baths

Kitchens and bathrooms are the two rooms that determine how a home feels to live in. They're used every single day. They're the rooms guests notice first and remember longest. And they're the rooms most likely to feel dated a decade after they were built — because styles shift and expectations rise.

A kitchen remodel is also one of the most technically complex projects in residential construction. Cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and ventilation all have to coordinate in a space where every dimension matters and every trade's work depends on the one before it. We manage that coordination so you don't have to.

We work on kitchens ranging from focused refreshes — new cabinets, counters, and appliances in an existing layout — to full gut renovations that reconfigure the floor plan, relocate plumbing and electrical, and transform how the room relates to the rest of the house. Our Kent Island project opened a wall-facing kitchen to a Chester River view. That kind of change isn't a remodel — it's a transformation.

Bathrooms follow the same principle. A primary suite bath should feel like a private retreat, not a room you move through quickly. We design and build primary baths, guest baths, powder rooms, and basement wet bars with the same level of care regardless of size.

Layout & Planning

Layout & Planning

Kitchen and bath projects live or die by the plan. We start with the existing layout — what works, what doesn't, and what structural or MEP constraints shape the possibilities. For kitchens, we model the work triangle, the island dimensions, the appliance clearances, and the relationship between the cooking area and the dining or living space. For baths, we plan fixture placement around plumbing access, ventilation requirements, and the natural light available. Nothing is ordered until the plan is confirmed.

Selections & Trade Coordination

Selections & Trade Coordination

Cabinets, countertops, tile, fixtures, hardware, appliances, lighting — kitchen and bath projects involve more material selections than any other room in the house. We provide a structured selections process with lead times built in, so nothing is ordered late and nothing holds up the schedule. We also coordinate all trade work — plumbing, electrical, tile, cabinetry, and finish carpentry — under a single project schedule so every sub knows what they need and when.

Installation & Finish

Installation & Finish

Kitchen and bath installation requires a sequenced approach: rough plumbing and electrical first, then tile, then cabinetry, then countertops, then appliances and fixtures. Each phase depends on the one before it being correct. We inspect at each transition point and don't release a trade until their work is verified — because fixing a cabinet layout after countertops are templated is a very expensive lesson.
